lol

Saw this guy in the kitchen making tea. He had a pretty authentic looking ceramic tea cup, which he was "warming up" with hot water. He said so himself. He's got his gormet tea and one of those tea things where you put the leaves in to soak (hey, i ain't a tea lover!) So there i am, thinking to myself.. wow, pretty hard core.. and then you know what.. he goes and dumps sugar all in his tea.

almost, almost had me fooled.

lol.

You're not supposed to put cream in tea... ya put milk
.... and maybe sugar.... but that does seem odd... kinda

I think if he were truly gourmet about it, you might see him with a jar of jam or preserves. The Russians I've spent time with used to coat the roof of their mouths with the jam and sip the tea through that. And because I'm sure the sugar he was using was packaged in a clunky cylindrical container (food service packing), you know it wasn't pure cane.

hmm. russians, tea, and jam... now, if it were my darling hubby, he'd skip the cup and the tea altogether.. and i'd have to seriously worry about the safety of the jam.

mmm. jam.. yum..
