Yawn

I'm bored.

Monday, August 25

Bah. Pttht.

This blows. No more olympics and Fall TV doesn't start for another month. What am I going to do?

Sunday, August 24

Let's try to keep some perspective people..

It's August. August 22 to be exact. We were walking around Tysons II and I see something that stops me in my tracks. The Christmas display in Neiman Marcus. Goodness! It's not even Labor Day yet. Summer isn't officially over until September 21. And there are Christmas ornaments littered across the lower level. Wow. What happened to Halloween? And Thanksgiving? Now granted, Thanksgiving isn't the traditional commercialized event as some of the other infamous holidays, I guess unless you're Williams Sonoma.. But really, where are the Halloween decorations? I dunno, am I the only one thinking this? I expect a certain order to the commercialism that is this country, but come on.

The closing ceremony is on which makes me sad. I've been glued to the television this Olympics, starting from the opening ceremony on 8/8/08, to Phelps incredible 8 gold medals.. to women's ping pong.. even weight lifting! Well, that was Vadim's addiction, not mine. Literally, I've been capturing every moment my limited spare time can stand. Good job Beijing - for actually making it interesting for me to watch this year. Ah, well, off to wait another 4 years.. and hello London.

Blogging Revisited

There's nothing like rediscovering yourself as you scroll through old blog posts from years past. I had completely forgotten about this place til today, when I decided to google myself. (I don't want to hear it, you know you've all done it before.) It's amazing how much time has past, and really, how little has changed. Ironically, the first post I read was the one about me being a work-a-holic. Goodness, no way back then could I have predicted this insanity that is now.

Let's see how long I can keep the blogs going this time around. Some how, this place is a bit easier to handle than facebook. Besides, the pink is perdy.

By the way, if this is your first time here, you need to scroll through and find "Take That." Hehehehe...
